The Matheysin Plateau

This plateau shaped by glaciers, which left three natural lakes as a souvenir, offers you a contrasting playground.

The shaded wooded paths lead to small ridges (the Creys) exposed to the north wind, and the hilly routes open onto ever-changing views of the surrounding massifs.

You will pass just under Napoleon's eagle, on the slopes of the Grand Serre, a forest that takes the shape of an eagle with outstretched wings opposite the Prairie de la Rencontre in Laffrey, where the adventurer became Emperor.
